I may be in the minority here, but I absolutely love drinking water. That’s probably a good thing too, since drinking water is pretty important.
The trouble, is that drinking water can be pretty wasteful. I keep a large re-usable water bottle at home and am constantly re-filling it with filtered water, but traveling often means disposable water bottles, which means lots and lots of waste. It’s not ideal, and thankfully there’s now a fantastic solution.
A Pocket-Sized Reusable Water Bottle
The biggest problem with water bottles is that they take up space. A small water bottle takes up less space, but also stores a lot less water. So it goes.
But what if we had a water bottle that could collapse down to take almost no space?
That’s the idea behind the HYDAWAY water bottle, a BPA free, taste and odor free water bottle that easily collapses to fit in a pocket, backpack, or any place you could think to jam it.
The HYDAWAY carries a maximum of 600ml of water, which – while not a lot – is more than enough for jaunts around town or even longer trips, like a flight. You can just keep filling the bottle up instead of buying disposable water bottles.
People are calling the HYDAWAY one of the most useful projects in Kickstarter history, and I think they’re right. If you’re interested in learning more about it, click here. They’re not quite ready to launch, but you can pre-order your bottle now and receive it the moment they’re ready to launch.
