How to experience a real life zombie attack

Zombies are the new vampires. You can find them in media everywhere, from TV shows, to movies, to videogames, you name it. However, many people feel that the thrill they get from killing (or avoiding) them with a joystick, or simply watching others do it isn’t enough. Luckily, there are several companies that are there to wuench your zombie thirst.

First, we have the guys from Zombie Town. It’s located in Asheville, North Carolina, and they will provide you with everything necessary to find patient zero (a shotgun, flashlight, ammo, etc). It has people flying in every week to experience the zombie outbreak in this multi level nightclub, and it promises to be a once in a lifetime experience.

Other options include, for example, the Dells Zombie Outbreak  in Michigan. You’ll find yourself in a military base with very realistic weapon replicas, which will record your zombie killing statistics. This will be shown to you when the experience ends and are great bragging rights.

Finally, you also have Zedtown in Australia. Using dart blasters, you must avoid the undead at all costs, as if they get you, you’ll become one of them! It also uses social media to give you clues and tips, but in the end it’s all about the game and how you play it. It’s very interactive, so no two people will have the same experience.

If none of these are close to your home, look around! There probably is something like this close enough. And, just in case, write these down. You never know when you’re gonna be close to one, and you really won’t want to miss the opportunity to live your first and (hopefully) only zombie apocalypse!
