Hitman: Absolution – The Many Disguises of Agent 47

Halloween is just around the corner, and in the spirit of the season, IO Interactive has released brand new footage for Hitman: Absolution showing off one of my favorite features of all… disguises!

In a world of easily fooled guards and enemies, disguises are a Hitman’s best friend. After years of training, practice, and experimentation, Agent 47 has become a master of disguising himself in everything from construction worker uniforms, to giant donuts. More importantly, is that he’s able to do it in style. I don’t know if I would look half as cool, calm, and collected if I were hunting down a target wearing a chicken suit.

I think the best part of this video is seeing Agent 47’s frowny face over, and over, and over again. He never stops frowning… or is it simply just his look of concentration? Either way, he looks like one tough dude, and to see him with such a serious face while wearing a squirrel costume… cripe, I can’t wait. The samurai armor and scarecrow disguises were also incredible, and I’ve even read that Agent 47 can dress up as a woman this time! I mean, IO didn’t say that exactly, but they did say you can wear a dress. I’m assuming that our bald headed friend wouldn’t simply wear a dress without some sort of accompanying hair piece.

When can we Play?

Sooner than you think. Well, if you already know the release date, then exactly when you think. Hitman: Absolution is arriving on PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3 on November 20th, 2012. I find this interesting because that’s the day that Assassin’s Creed 3 is also supposed to arrive for PC, and well… I’m sorry, there can be only one. I think you know which one I’ll be playing first.

    • I had a great many concerns, and Instinct Mode was definitely among them. Having said that, IO Interactive has said that you can easily disable it. In fact, it doesn’t exist on the higher difficulty levels anyway, so purists like us, it shouldn’t be an issue.
