Furious 7 Trailer: Fast & Furious Meets The Transporter

I must admit, the Fast & Furious movies are a guilty pleasure of mine and many of our adult friends. When we were young, the original movies seemed awesome, looking back, they’re quite cheesy. Yet, I’ve seen all six movies (or whatever the number it is they’ve produced) multiple times. These movies are pretty terrible; I do like the original one more because at least that one was about cars and the racing culture, the new stuff is just action movies with some cars.

We’ve all heard about Paul Walker’s untimely death and it is because of him most of us will watch the latest and possibly the last installment of the Fast & Furious movies, called Furious 7.

Below is the first official trailer for Furious 7. The movie takes place after the death of Han in the third movie, Tokyo Drift, and seems to be shot in Hong Kong with scenes in Dubai. The guys seem to be making use of some state of the art gadgets to break into vehicles, no more sticking one of the members out of the sunroof and shooting harpoons at trucks, or buses in this case.

The Furious 7 trailer looks pretty action packed, I’m expecting the movie to be similar to the previous two movies, with unbelievable car stunts and cars that never seem to break down, no matter how many walls they go through or how high they jump. And yes, unfortunately, “The Rock” is in this movie too, but on a positive note, “The Transporter” makes an appearance as the bad guy.

The 7th installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, Furious 7 will be in theatres on April 3, 2015. I’ll definitely be watching it on the big screen to pay my final respects to Paul Walker.
