Fuel – World’s Tiniest Cell Phone Charger

We’ve all been there, we need to use our phone for something important but the battery is out of juice. This rather annoying event can easily be avoided with the world’s smallest phone charger, Fuel. The Devotec Fuel Micro Charger is a keyring sized cell phone charger that can provide approximately 20 to 30 minutes of extra juice when needed.

There are lots of portable cell phone chargers on the market and some people even carry an extra battery for their mobile phone but the Fuel has one advantage, its size. Size does matter and being small is sometimes a good thing…sometimes. This bad boy measures in at only 1.3x9x0.5-inches.

The Fuel cell phone charger features three LED lights which indicate whether the device is charging, full charged, or on. Fuel has an on/off switch so you don’t have to worry about draining the battery. The device is also able to hold its charge for 30 days before you need to charge it again. Fuel cell phone charger can be charged through a micro-USB and can charge cell phones which have a micro-USB port.

Besides its compact size, I also like how the Fuel cell phone charger is modelled after a gas can. It looks very cool and most people won’t even know that tiny gas can on your keychain can actually charge your cell phone. The battery on the Fuel cell phone charger is a 5C battery which is rated at 220 milliamp hours.

The device is expected to retail for $24.99 but can be ordered right now through Kick Starter for a reduced price. The company is hoping to bring the Fuel cell phone charger to the market place by July of this year. For more of the technical details about this device, check out Kick Starter.
