Here’s another set of elegant looking watches in the Terrestis line from Fortis watches, called the 19Fortis, available in a.m. and p.m. varieties. These watches are based on Fortis watches from the 1940’s with classic looks but more modern sizes.
The 19Fortis watches come in 40 mm wide cases and are 7.35 mm thick. The a.m. models feature silver opaline dials while the p.m. models come with anthracite dials. Both versions are offered in stainless steel and rose gold cases with sapphire crystal on the dials and mineral crystal on the display casebacks. The 19Fortis a.m. watches come with light and medium brown leather straps and the 19Fortis p.m. watches come with black leather straps.
All four versions of the Fortis Terrestis 19Fortis watches come with rose gold raised Roman numerals and hour indices and Arabic numeral minute markers. The hour and minutes hands are also rose gold while the second hand is finished in blue on the a.m. version. The dials have a very elegant look to them, described by the watchmaker as “The pleated texturing of the dial cites a sharp, pressed tuxedo shirt, which makes the 19FORTIS the perfect accessory for the modern gentleman.”
