Flex-Card – Universal Storage For All Devices

There are a ridiculous number of portable storage devices in the marketplace and it can be difficult to pick the one that’s right for you. All of the companies claim to have something that is really unique but I think you guys should definitely have a look this latest gadget. The Flex-Card, created by the Power Company, is a physical storage device which brings together all mobile phones (iPhones, Androids) and computer devices (PC, Mac, iPad). The purpose of the device is to bridge the gap of sharing files between the different operating systems on the market without having to connect to a Cloud based system. This is also a great device for those who are concerned about security as you can now skip the need to have an Internet connection.

The Flex-Card features two flexible cables along with various connectors that are able to attach to different devices depending on which one you are using. The two main cables consist of a 3.0 USB connector and a micro connector. The attachments consist of a Lightning 8-pin connector for iPhone 5 and newer, 30-pin connector for older generations of iPhone & iPad, and the new USB-C.

I can see this being very useful for…. pretty much anyone who owns a phone. The Flex-Card gives you the flexibility to transfer videos, pictures, media, and files from one platform to another regardless of the operating system. It’s very convenient and it will also let you backup data as well as move contacts from one phone to the next with extreme ease.

Their Initial Goal – Phase One was to raise $3,000 to start the molding process but the manufacturing process requires them to reach $50,000 for the Initial Goal – Phase Two. In its first 15 days, the company has been able to raise around $22,000 and another 31 days remain. There are also Stretch Goals but you can look at those on their crowd funding page.
