Final Fantasy XV TGS Trailer

I remember spending hours upon hours playing Final Fantasy VII and VIII games back in the day. Sometimes I wouldn’t even go to sleep at night just so I can get to the next level; oh the good ole days. The last time I played an FF game was only a few years ago, I believe it was Final Fantasy 13, I don’t think I ever finished it and my gaming console has long been put to rest.

I guess I missed the launch of FF14, because Square Enix has just released a sneak peak work in progress trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy XV game, the XV means “15”, boys and girls; I can see many hours being spent on this game, heck, I might even get one.

As you’d expect from any new Final Fantasy game, the graphics are even more amazing (and this isn’t even the final version of the game). The characters look even more realistic, we’ll have to forgive the developers for blonde/redhead Asian characters. Like the previous games, there seems to be one main character who is mysterious, a strong side character, a smart (looking) character, and of course, an annoying and whiney character. The main character’s love interest, Luna, looks pretty hot too!

Other things of note, the monsters are bigger than ever, the cities are huge with lots of details, these guys are still fighting using swords, and there’s a sweet convertible sedan with suicide doors. What else can you want from an RPG game? Final Fantasy XV will be available on PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, the release date is unknown at this time.
