Some of my friends absolutely love the Fast & Furious movie franchise, any movie that comes out with the F&F name, they think its pure gold and Oscar worthy. Personally, I liked the first one, after that the movies were “meh”; maybe I grew up and realized no one can act in those movies and the plots are pretty weak. I still watched most of these movies in the theater, to support their effort I guess? I’ll probably watch Fast & Furious 7, just for the late Paul Walker’s sake.
Below is something a little different, it’s a great little video, honoring some of the race scenes from Fast & Furious movies, all shot with RC cars. The video is pretty awesome and we get to see some great driving, crashing cop cars, and of course, ridiculously impossible jumps over crazy obstacles.
The video features a black Camaro SS RC (Toretto’s, complete with personalized license plates), a blue Nissan GT-R (Brian O’Conner), a silver Nissan Silvia (is it Han’s?), and Camaro cop cars. As a bonus, Spider-Man, Superman, and Batman also make a cameo appearance and get run over.
The team at Vax Studio did a fantastic job on this video. It’s very creative and realistic, and by realistic I mean it’s realistic like the FF movies are. I can’t imagine how many hours went into making and editing this short film. Check out some of the behind the scenes shots in the video below.
