Finally a coffee mug that can actually keep your coffee warm for a long period of time, it can also keep your cold drink cold, if you’re not into hot drinks.
The Ember mug is currently being funded on Indigogo and is “the world’s most advanced temperature adjustable mug”, according to the project’s creators. The Ember mug comes with a built-in microprocessor controlled heating system and a battery pack to keep your drink at the desired temperature. The mug’s temperature can be adjusted by rotating the bottom of the mug or using the Ember app, which sends a signal to the built-in Bluetooth radio. For keeping drinks cold, it acts like a regular insulated mug, there is no cooling element built into the mug.
The Ember mug can keep your coffee/tea etc warm for up to 2 hours on one charge or indefinitely when it’s placed on the charging coaster. The Ember mug can be yours for a pledge of $129.
