Deus Ex: Human Revolution Release Date

Jonathan Jacques Belletete - The Deus Ex: Human Revolution release date grows closer

It’s finally happening – the day I’ve been waiting for my entire life. Deus Ex: Human Revolution is almost upon us! As the Deus Ex: Human Revolution release date draws near, I find myself waiting anxiously to fire up my copy of Steam and download the game and experience what I hope is the best Deus Ex since… well, the original Deus Ex. Much like the horrific Mad Max sequel Beyond the Thunderdome, I simply pretend that Invisible War was never created, and that DE:HR is the only other Deus Ex game.

The release of Human Revolution means a lot to a lot of people, even if they don’t know it yet. It means that you, the dedicated reader, won’t have my weekly obsessive Deus Ex posts to look forward to. It means that my girlfriend and friends won’t have to politely nod and smile as I talk about the newest tweets from
Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, or how I analyzed the latest trailer for every scrap of new information. Most importantly, though, it means that we get to play what I hope is another great Deus Ex game. It’s been a great many years, and I’m looking forward to playing what I hope is an intellectual shooter with a deep and interesting story, and all the mechanics that made Deus Ex amazing, while removing what didn’t work. I don’t think I’m asking for much.

The Deus Ex: Human Revolution release date is August 23rd, 2011.
