Citroen DS Wild Rubis Crossover

We recently test drove the Range Rover Evoque and fell with the styling, interior, and driving dynamics of the vehicle. The vehicle you see here before you is the Citroen DS Wild Rubis concept car and I think I like it a lot more than the Evoque. Yes, concept vehicles are always more appealing than the production version but this looks like it’s ready to hit the show room floors.

More information will be available soon regarding the engine and related specifications. The vehicle will be making its world premier at the 2013 Auto China show in Shanghai later this month. Citroen is expected to release a crossover vehicle soon under its premium ‘Citroen DS’ sub-brand and this example seen here is a vision of a future DS branded SUV/Crossover.

Citroen DS being more premium, it appears that the automaker has BMW and Mercedes-Benz in its sights. The Citroen DS Wild Rubis measures in at 15.4 feet in length while its width is 6.4 feet. The height of this concept crossover is 5.2 feet which seems rather low but we’ll get updated information in another post as soon as its made official. The wheelbase of the vehicle measures at 9.5 feet while the crossover sits on 21-inch wheels.

The front of the vehicle receives an interesting chrome grille with the DS badge and some super-sexy LED headlights. The rear features more chrome with the lights being imbedded in it. And lower down, the bumper also features some shiny chrome along with a twin exhaust setup.

More details will be released soon but you can enjoy a few pictures below while you wait.
