I’ve been watching these autotune videos for a while now, and they range from terrible to hilarious. I wouldn’t say this one is the funniest I’ve seen, but it’s fairly catchy, and you will get to see a man that looks like a young Colonel Sanders mixed with a hippie from Berkeley. His mustache is magnificent – I truly wish that I too could achieve the same level of facial hair glory. Perhaps if I saved more Qur’ans I would be granted the bliss of a long full mustache.
Music
Everyone has different taste in music, but unfortunately some people’s opinions are just wrong. We’ve decided to cover only the music which is scientifically proven as being awesome. We may post crappy music on occasion, but only in a mocking fashion. Rebecca Black, I’m looking at you.
Here’s a “new” song by Kaskade called Fire In Your New Shoes. The song features the lovely Martina of Dragonette, and you’ll find at least two minutes worth of Martina groping herself and stripping in and out of various semi-transparent outfits.
The song itself is very catchy and ranks up there with Martin Solveig’s song Boys & Girls, also featuring Martina of Dragonette.
Due to the overwhelming popularity of our post on Jackie Evancho’s first AGT performance, we have decided to follow her appearances on America’s Got Talent. Below is her second performance, in the semi final round, on the hit reality show, once again, she sounds amazing.

If you’re looking for some driving music to get your heartrate up, check out Martin Solveig’s “I Want You“- outside of being a great tune, you can’t go wrong with a bombshell blonde model washing a ’67-’69 fastback Mustang in a PVC catsuit and heels. It isn’t only the beat that’s got your pulse racing.
Now I don’t usually make posts about stuff like this but watching tonight’s episode of America’s Got Talent, I just had to share this video with you.
The opera singer is 10 year old Jackie Evancho, from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Boy can this little girl sing, her voice sounds like a professional opera singer, at first I thought it was fake!!! Listen to the song below, it gave me goosebumps.

This video has been getting tons of views only days after being released. The title of the video is in Chinese but I’ve been told that it translates to “I swear after watching this clip I’ll love my wife more“. I think that title would be appropriate. Just watch the video below and you’ll see what I mean. As bad as it may be, I did pick up a few dance moves. It starts to get interesting 32 seconds into the video.
Like most men living in the digital age, I happen to have a very large and varied collection of music. The internet has made it possible for indie bands to promote themselves and flourish, and Long Story Short is no exception.
I recently had the pleasure of listening to What Mattered Most by the very talented Nicky James and Daniel Luka, and I came away not only impressed, but excited at the prospect of them releasing more songs in the coming months. If the songs they’ve released so far are any indication of what they have in store for us, we’re in for a real treat.
After having formed a band in late 2009, the duo wasted no time recording a series of demo songs in a California studio, and gaining a respectable following in the process. They’ve since released their song “Someone” on Itunes to great acclaim, and have teamed up with John Nathaniel, a Canadian-based gold-certified record producer to produce their debut album. John Nathaniel has worked with local hit artists such as Marie Mai and Pat Groulx, and is helping co-write some of the songs on the upcoming album.
Nicky and Daniel are working full-bore and plan to release new songs in the coming months, with a full album release planned for late this year.
You can follow Nicky and Daniel by following them on http://www.longstoryshortrock.com or through their Facebook page.
As if the auto tune crying or auto tune kitten wasn’t enough, now we have the auto tune wolves. This one actually sounds pretty good and can be mistaken for an Enigma song.
Word on the street is, R2D2 has the skills to get the dance floor bumpin’. Well, sort of. This short three minute sound clip is made by the audio-visual mixing kings, Eclectic Method. The music you are about to hear consists of various sounds collected from different sci-fi films and mixed into a pretty sweet song. Check it out and let us know what you think?
Eclectic Method was created in 2002 and its group members consist of Ian Edgar, Jonny Wilson, and Geoff Gamlen.
The 3rd Inception trailer was recently shown with the release of Iron Man 2, and I’m getting more and more excited to see it. I’ve been trying my best to avoid any massive spoilers, but it’s been tough, and to hold myself over I’ve been listening to the excellent trailer theme entitled Mind Heist by the very talented Zack Hemsey.
You can listen to the full version of Mind Heist by visiting http://music.zackhemsey.com and I’m told that the song was briefly being sold for $1 through the same page. Let’s hope it’s made available again before the movies release in theaters on July 16th.
