I don’t know what it is about lamps but I’m kind of into them. My thing with lamps is kind of strange considering I don’t care for any other type of interior decor and I usually let the lady of the house worry about such things. I’ve even written about a few different types of levitating lamps because they were so cool. And today we’re going to look at the BULBING, a 2D LED lamp that becomes 3D thanks to its unique design and 5mm acrylic glass.
Although BULBING is a 2D LED lamp, the device uses 3D wire-frame images and transfers them onto 2D materials to create functional and delicate design pieces for your home or office. The base of the BULBING is made of plywood birch while the light is an LED with a soft glow and lifespan of 50,000 hours.

It may look 3D but because it’s flat and 2D, it will save space on your counter or side table in your living room and bedroom. If you happen to get bored from the current design, you can easily remove the 2D acrylic piece and replace it with another design to create a completely different visual effect. The acrylic glass sheet being used is known for its light transmitting properties and does a better job than plastic or glass. The various acrylic glass designs being used are created by utilizing a laser machining process. Once it’s lasered and the acrylic glass piece is placed on the lamp’s base, the light will break through the etched surface to create an amazing illusion.
