Bugatti Veyron Legend Ettore Bugatti Edition

With only a handful of examples left, the legendary Bugatti Veyron is almost at the end of its life (only 450 cars produced). Bugatti has been dressing up the last few remaining Veyrons in different packages, and one of the last Veyrons pays tribute to the company’s founder, Ettore Bugatti.

The car is part of the “Les Légendes de Bugatti” series, to be unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The Bugatti Veyron Legend Ettore Bugatti Edition is limited to three units, with a price tag of €2.35 million (or about $3.15 million US, at today’s exchange rate) each.

The Ettore Bugatti edition Veyron is the same Veyron you’ve seen in countless YouTube videos, but with special paint, interior, and emblems. The car is designed after the 1932 Type 1 Royale, seen above, which was the most luxurious and powerful car of its time.

Whether you’re a fan of the Veyron or absolutely hate its design, I’m sure you do appreciate the quality of the work on these handcrafted cars. The Legend models are even more special and the Ettore Bugatti edition is no different. The front and the doors are polished aluminum with clear coat and the rest of the car is painted in dark blue and exposed carbon fiber.

The interior is beautifully finished with luxurious leather, brushed and polished aluminum trim pieces, blue carbon fiber, and emblems denoting the specialness of this car.

The Veyron Legend Ettore Bugatti Edition is powered by an 8.0 liter turbocharged W16 engine that produces 1,184 horsepower and 1,106 pound-feet of torque. The car reaches the 62 mph mark in 2.6 seconds with a top speed of 254 mph (408.84 km/h), making it the world’s fastest production “roadster”. Via: Bugatti
