Breitling has done a great job on their new SuperOcean watch, they have updated it to be more in-tune with the current market. The watch has a very clean and uncluttered face; it comes equipped with a black unidirectional ratcheted bezel and a screw down crown for keeping the internals from getting damaged by water. The date is displayed at the standard 3 o’clock position and the second had is colored to match the inner bezel color.
Breitling’s website describes the watch as:

The Breitling SuperOcean comes in five different colors, which are painted on the inside of the watch in the beveled inner bezel ring and can be equipped with a plain rubber strap, called the Diver Pro, a rubber strap with a bit of decorations, called the Ocean Racer and steel bracelet, called the Professional. The five colors are Abyss Black, Abyss Red, Abyss Blue, Abyss Silver and my favorite Abyss Yellow.
Some technical details
The movement in the SuperOcean is Breitling Automatic Caliber 17, which is chronometer certified by COSC, has 25 Jewels, and vibrates 28,800 per hour. The SuperOcean is water resistant to 1,500 meters (5,000 feet) and comes with a screw-down crown and sapphire crystal. The watch diameter is 42 millimeters.
The new Breitling SuperOcean is a great collector’s timepiece and is a must have for any die-hard Breitling fan or a watch fan in general.
