The Breaking Bad Tribute Game – Walter and Jesse in a 2D Adventure

Some of you are going to hate me for saying this, but… I never watched past the first season of Breaking Bad. In fact, I didn’t even finish the first season.

I know, I know… show of the decade. How could I not watch it? I ask myself the same question, and I’m hoping to make amends. You see, I actually really enjoyed what I saw. The characters had depth, the story was interesting, and the actors’ performances were top notch all around. I’m even more embarrassed to say that I can’t even remember why I stopped watching, but whatever it was won’t stop me this time!

In the mean time…

A Little Tribute

A few fans of the show decided to put together a little tribute in the form of a Breaking Bad, old-school 2D platform game that you can play for free on Round Games. I actually tried to embed the game directly into the page, but it’s just too small to play properly. Instead, I’ve included a screenshot below to give you a little taste.

I know, this game is no substitution for my not having seen the show, but consider it a peace offering while I catch up on show. I’ve only played what I remember from season 1 to avoid spoiling anything for myself, but I’ll continue to play through the levels as I watch the show.

Having said that, feel free to talk about both the show and the game in the comments below, and don’t worry about the spoilers. This is one of those rare occasions where I’m going to avoid reading your comments here. I’ll leave that to some of our other writers who have, you know… actually seen the show.

Ps: If you haven’t seen this “Breaking Bad 1995” video clip, then you’re missing out.
