Brabus Tuned Mercedes-AMG GT S

The new Mercedes-AMG GT is a pretty sexy looking car and it comes with loads of power, but the Brabus tuned Mercedes-AMG GT S looks absolutely spectacular and packs an added punch.

The Brabus tuning packing for the Mercedes-AMG GT S is called the “Brabus PowerXtra B40 – 600 Performance Kit”, which includes work on the engine and body. The kit consists of new mapping the ignition and injection, and extra boost to the turbos. With this package, the V8 produces 592 horsepower (up from 503) and 553 pound-feet of torque (up from 479). The 0 – 62 mph sprint takes 3.6 seconds with a top speed of 201 mph (325 km/h).

The kit also replaces the GT S’s exhaust system with a 40% lighter titanium unit, which comes with a switch to control the butterfly valve, making it louder or quieter based the owner’s mood.

The body enhancements consist of a slightly more aggressive front bumper, carbon fiber side sills, a new rear spoiler, and a diffuser with integrated quad tailpipes. The tuned GT S rides on a sports suspension with adjustable dampers, the car also sits 0.6” (15mm) lower. The Brabus Mercedes-AMG GT S rides on 20” front and 21” rear Monoblock F-forged lightweight wheels.

The Brabus Mercedes-AMG GT S will be presented at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
