Best Workouts for a Bigger Chest

Wide chests are awesome. They not only make a man feel great, but also get him all the hookups he can handle. If you want to enjoy that Christian Bane look, then you need to get yourself to the gym and doing these workouts.

Heavy Compounds

Lying on a bench and lifting or pushing heavy barbells and dumbbells off your chest is not the only way you can get a wider chest. Sometimes, all you need is yourself and some grit (you’re going to need it). Doing some resistance training like squats, dead-lifts, and overhead presses will strengthen and add bulk to your thighs and core, getting you in shape in no time. All you need to do is to do them heavy and so them often.

Fast Lifts

Heavy lifting and squats are a great way to build your girth because a) they make you use all your back-muscle sets which strengthens and builds muscle and b) because they make you produce the big T and growth hormone. These two will make your muscles grow.

Dumbbell/ Barbell Presses

When you lie down and push a heavy weight away from your chest over and again, your muscles are strained. They become more resilient and enduring, and grow and tone in the process.

Press-ups

When doing a press-up, you support your entire body weight against your arms, and use the muscles in your back to help you lift and lower yourself. By doing them, you build biceps and chest muscles, which translate in a wider chest.

Push-ups

Push-ups on their own are effective in strengthening muscle, but on their own, can lead to a plateau in building the muscles in your chest. When you want to broaden your chest and biceps, you’ll need to alternate the good ol’ push-ups with resistance-assisted push-ups (with resistance bands). That way, you’ll build stronger, larger and healthier chest muscles.
