Beastly Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG By Mansory

In stock form, the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG is already a powerful machine at 577 horsepower but some owners are not so easily impressed. In the tuning world, it’s a tit for tat type of game when it comes to laying down massive numbers on the dyno. Brabus will increase the power to over 800hp and Mansory will kindly respond with an even more powerful beast.

German tuner, Mansory, has released two different performance upgrades for the Mercedes S63 AMG. The first upgrade, M800, increases the power of the S63 AMG to 789 horsepower at 4,750 rpm and 885 lb-ft of torque between 1,700 – 3,500 rpm allowing the vehicle to complete the 0-100km/h (0-62mph) dash in only 3.6 seconds, making it 0.4 seconds faster than the stock S63 AMG.

As if the 789hp isn’t enough, perhaps the Mansory M1000 upgrade might satisfy the itch for more power. The second package boosts the 5.9-liter bi-turbo V8 from the stock 577 horsepower to an impressive 986 horsepower and 1,032 lb-ft of torque at only 1,500 – 3,500 rpm. Imagine sitting behind the wheel of that S63 and launching yourself from 0-100 km/h (0-62mph) in only 3.2 seconds? The top speed is limited to 186 mph (300 km/h). It would be interesting to see what it’s capable of without any of the electronic limitations set in place.

For the V8 engine to produce and handle the increased power from the upgrades, new parts are installed such as a new crankshaft, connecting rods, bearings, new turbocharger, bearing bushings, new pipe fan manifolds, and a new suction and compressor system.

Inside the vehicle, the Mansory S63 gets a newly designed steering wheel, illuminated door sill trims, aluminum pedals, and leather foot mats.

The upgrade package also includes an aerodynamics appearance kit which includes an all-black exterior featuring a redesigned front bumper with integrated new LED DRLs, a rear bumper with a diffuser, new hood, and new side skirts. There are also carbon fiber components on the exterior such as the front lip spoiler, mirror caps, rear apron, and a lip spoiler on the trunk.

To complete the look, the Mansory S63 AMG sits on 22-inch black alloy wheels wrapped in 255/30/ZR22 Vredestein tires up front and 295/25/ZR22 at the back.
