It was only a few weeks ago that Assassin’s Creed: Unity arrived, and already we’re seeing leaked screenshots of Ubisoft’s next Assassin’s Creed game.
They’re calling this one Assassin’s Creed: Victory, and by all appearances it’s set in Victorian era London. According to Kotaku – the site that first broke the news – Assassin’s Creed: Victory is being developed by Ubisoft’s Quebec studio, and is slated for a fall 2015 release.
The screenshots that Kotaku got their hands on are all from a seven-minute “target gameplay footage” video that someone leaked. Given that we’ve only see four screenshots in total, perhaps more are forthcoming.
They don’t show a ton, but what we do see looks pretty interesting. This fight on top of what appears to be a moving carriage looks like it could be a ton of fun. At the very least, it’s a bit of a departure from the standard fare.
Whoever this new assassin is, he sure knows how to make an entrance.
Being able to change outfits to avoid detection could add an interesting new dynamic to the Assassin’s Creed universe. But… all of this is just speculation. It’s safe to assume that everything we’ve seen could change in the coming year.
We’ll be sure to keep you posted as new details emerge.
