In the world of mid-size luxury sedans there are a handful of cars that are a little specials, these cars are perfect for running around town with clients or with the kids in the back seats but they can also put down hot laps at the track. The most popular cars like these are the BMW M5 and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, but now there is another option in the form of the Cadillac CTS-V sedan.
Teh 2016 Cadillac CTS-V is based on the well-received CTS sedan and is the most powerful production car produced by Cadillac. The CTS-V is powered by a supercharged 6.4 liter V8 engine that produces 640 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque, which is substantially more than the M5 and the E63 AMG. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. The CTS-V is able to reach 60 mph in a very sports car-like 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 200 mph.
